Jacquizz Rodgers plans to submit his name to the NFL for evaluation

I just read on the Corvallis GT website that Jaquizz Rogers will submit his name to the NFL for evaluation.
What this does is give Jaquizz an idea on what round he would potentially go in the draft this Spring. This does not mean that he is going to the draft, it just means he is seeing “what if?”.
I think that both of the Rogers brothers have a shot at the NFL. Both are very talented, and have incredible work ethic. It would be nice to see both Rogers brothers back next year in Orange and Black, but if the evaluation comes back with Quizz potentially going in the first couple of rounds, then who could blame him if he left?

Urban Meyer Retires. Who do you think will take over at Florida?
I am listening to the radio this morning, and heard that Florida Gator football coach Urban Meyer will announce his retirement today. Read New York Times Article Here.
Any rumors on who would fill his place? Do you think that there is any chance that Coach Chip Kelly would be interested in the Florida coaching job?
I am hearing a lot of buzz around Chip Kelly and University of Florida, so I am throwing it out there for comment.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows – Part 1
Last night my beautiful wife and I went to see the newest chapter in the Harry Potter series – The Deathly Hollows.
What an entertaining movie! Pretty much non-stop action, and kept in line well with the book.
The only aspect of the movie that I did not like was that the entire story happens away from Hogwarts. From the book, I understood this, but I really missed not seeing the buildings, landscapes, students, and teachers.
Anyway, the movie is a must-see!
Monday Night Football 45-3?!!!
Did any of you out there watch MNF last night? Holy cow!
Tom Brady set a new NFL record for most consecutive home wins, surpassing Brett Favre. Tom is having an amazing year, which to me means that his offensive line is doing their jobs! The win gave the Patriots a 10-2 record, and first place in the AFC East.

Traeger Grills
A few months ago I purchased a Traeger Lil’ Tex grill. I love to grill, smoke, and barbecue, and think that the purchase was one of my best (at least my favorite!).
I have smoked brisket, ribs (many times), pulled pork, numerous chickens, steaks, and even a turkey.
This past Sunday I smoked chicken breasts using apple pellets. I have been using the individually frozen chicken breasts from Costco. I preheat the grill, and throw the breasts on completely frozen. I usually smoke them for an hour, then increase the temperature to 325 and cook them an additional 30 to 40 minutes. It is so incredibly easy to cook on the Traeger, it has made me seem like a much better cook then I am !
